Cancellation, Rescheduling, and No-Show Policy

Residential Pickups

  • • Customers may cancel or reschedule a residential pickup at no charge if the cancellation is made at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled pickup time.
  • • Cancellations made within twenty-four (24) hours of the scheduled pickup may result in a late cancellation fee of five dollars ($5.00), which will be deducted from the recycling payout associated with the pickup.
  • • Cancellations made on the same day as the scheduled pickup, or failure to make recyclables available at the scheduled time (("No-Show")), may result in a ten dollar ($10.00) deduction, applied to the current payout or carried forward and deducted from a future payout.
  • • Late cancellation deductions are intended to offset operational costs, including but not limited to routing, labor, and fuel expenses incurred in preparation for the pickup.

Business Pickups (Including Restaurants, Apartments, Offices, and Commercial Accounts)

  • • Business customers may cancel or reschedule a pickup at no charge if cancellation is made at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled pickup time.
  • • Cancellations made within twenty-four (24) hours of the scheduled pickup may incur a service fee ranging from ten dollars ($10.00) to twenty-five dollars ($25.00), depending on account size, service frequency, and pickup volume.
  • • Failure to make recyclables available at the scheduled pickup time ((No-Show)) may result in the full pickup fee being charged.
  • • Applicable fees may be deducted from recycling payouts, billed to the customer's saved payment method, or applied to a monthly invoice, as determined by DashCan.

Insufficient Payout Balance

  • • If the recycling payout for a given pickup is less than the applicable cancellation fee, DashCan reserves the right to carry forward the remaining balance and deduct it from future pickups or payouts.

Right to Modify

  • • DashCan reserves the right to modify this Cancellation Policy at any time, with updated terms posted within the application or on the DashCan website. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
